Se están estudiando desde hace años sistemas automáticos que ayuden al hombre a mejorar la indización. Entre estos sistemas, encontramos a SISA. En este trabajo se hace una evaluación de este sistema, para ello, se realiza una comparación del Sistema de Indización SISA, con la indización manual, empleando los indicadores de consistencia en la indización, exhaustividad y precisión en la recuperación. Aunque SISA admite artículos de cualquier temática, en este trabajo, se ha indizado artículos sacados de la base de datos del ISOC sobre Biblioteconomía y Documentación. Tras el análisis, se ha obtenido un 31% de consistencia en la indización. Las unidades de información deben llevar a cabo el control de autoridades, ya que si se cuenta con una herramienta de esta índole, rápidamente se encuentra el término normalizado tanto para nombres personales y de organismos, como para títulos uniformes, series y encabezamientos de materia. Con el internet, los usuarios quedaban contentos al encontrar siempre algo de información de forma muy sencilla, decayó el interés por este tipo de herramientas, que se pensaban complicadas y obsoletas.  Ahora de nuevo vuelven a revalorizarse, ya que este trabajo trata de reivindicar el uso de tesauros en la recuperación documental en todo tipo de sistemas de información, justificando de nuevo su valor. Nuestro corpus se ha constituido a partir del «Diccionario de tecnologías de la información y la comunicación», publicado en 2009 por la Comisión General de Terminología y neologismos de Francia, que compila las palabras, frases y definiciones publicadas en el Diario Oficial. La primera visualización de 670 palabras en el que la información se representa mediante nodos y enlaces etiquetados entre estos nodos para mostrar las relaciones semánticas. El tesauro lo hemos construido utilizando un software específico (TemaTres). Una segunda visualización se ha realizado a partir del análisis de redes textuales ART que nos permitió codificar las relaciones entre términos y construir una red. Por último, era una representación de tesauros de la estructura SKOS. Para ello se utilizan los métodos y herramientas de análisis de redes sociales (ARS) que se aplica a los datos de texto, teniendo en cuenta un concepto como una abstracción de la realidad y por lo tanto un reflejo del pensamiento antropológico. Los dato obtenidos en varios ejemplos de este tipo de recursos se comparan conlos términos incluidos en un tesauro especializado de este mismo ámbito.  A través de esta comparación se sistematizan cuáles son las aportaciones del etiquetado libre frente a las herramientas tradicionales.  Los tesauros pueden aprovechar las folksonomías como una fuente de gran calidad para actualizar y ampliar su cobertura terminológica.
