Estos acontecimientos han creado nuevas posibilidades y desafíos en la evaluación de la calidad de la investigación, también a nivel de investigadores individuales y desarrollos de carrera. Es en este nivel donde la biblioteca juega un papel indispensable en la formación de competencias, destrezas y habilidades informativas que repercutirá en la valoración social del profesional, su satisfacción laboral y en última instancia en la calidad de la propia institución.
