El otro grupo que hemos tenido en mente son Uds. que todavía están haciendo la carrera de magisterio. Aunque existen algunos cursos modelos, es deprimente el número de nuevos docentes que siguen llegando al aula sin apenas haber escuchado la palabra “e-learning”, ni mucho menos tener experiencia práctica en ello. Algunas personas han señalado lo obvio, que un libro acerca del e-learning es un contrasentido, y opinaban que habría sido más apropiado producir una versión online con todas las ventajas que ofrece su fácil actualización. Sin embargo, pensamos que los mismos docentes a los cuales va dirigido este libro probablemente pertenezcan al grupo que difícilmente use ni se sienta a gusto a la hora de usar materiales presentados en la Web. Un libro es cómodo y familiar, y así queremos que se sientan los docentes con respecto al e-learning. Se trata de un libro de referencia igual que un manual práctico.
