En sentido inverso, podemos mencionar el buen nivel de conocimiento ya conseguido sobre el transporte de especies americanas hacia Europa a partir del siglo XVIII (García París, 1991) y en bastante menor grado lo sucedido durante los dos primeros siglos (XVI y XVII) periodo del que nos hemos ocupado en algunos de nuestros trabajos (Hernández Bermejo y Lora González (1994), Hernández Bermejo y León, eds.
