Huertas - cu subtirare în limba română Description An account of the resource Desde que conocí a Carme Jiménez no dejo de preguntarme cómo es posible que hasta ahora no se haya cuestionado nunca que el latín sea la madre de las lenguas románicas. Escucharla a ella es toparse de repente con el sentido común. Aunque Carmen no es la única lingüista que defiende que nuestra lengua no viene del latín, pero al parecer, hay una sordera sistemática del mundo académico ante esta "aparentemente rara" teoría. No es de extrañar, reconocer algo así pondría en evidencia todo nuestra sistema lingüístico y la centenaria creencia en un postulado inicial (que el latín es la lengua madre) que nunca ha llegado a revisarse de manera objetiva. ¿Acaso los habitantes de la península ibérica eran mudos antes de la llegada de los romanos...? Nos escontramos con algo parecido al engañoso Darwin y la supuesta evolución de las especies. Aquí también nos sigue faltando el "eslabón perdido". Siempre nos han contado que nuestra lengua es fruto de una "degeneración" de la lengua latina en lengua vulgar; por otra parte, término claramente despectivo. Pero hay ya demasiadas evidencias que demuestran que el latín vulgar no existió. De haber existido, deberíamos haber encontrado muchos más "eslabones intermedios" escritos entre ese latín "degenerado" y las lenguas romances. Sin embargo no es así. Esto debería hacernos reflexionar... ¿no creéis? Carme Jiménez es escritora y filóloga especializada en lingüística, y también, profesora de latín! Sabe muy bien de qué está hablando. Se ha enfrentado al elenco academicista de la gramática histórica por mantener esta teoría, así como por sus investigaciones sobre la lengua ibérica, publicadas en ibers.cat. Pero no ha cejado en el empeño y recién acaba de publicar su investigación en el libro No venimos del latín, en el que nos cuenta una historia gramatical algo diferente... Su siguiente sueño ahora es crear un equipo multidisciplinar para descifrar definitivamente la lengua ibérica (que ya preexistía aquí desde el s VII a.C. mucho antes de la llegada de los romanos) y con ella, la clave de todo el entramado lingüístico.
