Sin embargo, cada capítulo se ha revisado en profundidad, buscando nuevas investigaciones que complementen lo que había hasta hace unos años atrás. Fue un poco sorprendente en esta revisión no encontrar nuevos estudios que pusieran en cuestión lo anteriormente reportado. En la mayoría de los casos la revisión bibliográfica ha contribuido a reforzar los hallazgos anteriores. Esta revisión fue posible gracias al aporte de Ediciones Universidad Católica de Chile y muy especialmente por el trabajo riguroso de la psicóloga Bárbara Hanisch. A ella y a la Universidad Católica mi especial reconocimiento. Esperamos que este texto pueda seguir acompañando a miles de estudiantes motivados, en Chile y en América Latina, para aprender un poco más sobre el proceso de aprendizaje de los niños y los jóvenes.
