Se están estudiando desde hace años sistemas automáticos que ayuden al hombre a mejorar la indización. Entre estos sistemas, encontramos a SISA. En este trabajo se hace una evaluación de este sistema, para ello, se realiza una comparación del Sistema de Indización SISA, con la indización manual, empleando los indicadores de consistencia en la indización, exhaustividad y precisión en la recuperación. Aunque SISA admite artículos de cualquier temática, en este trabajo, se ha indizado artículos sacados de la base de datos del ISOC sobre Biblioteconomía y Documentación. Tras el análisis, se ha obtenido un 31% de consistencia en la indización.
