Open acces, scientific information available online without limits

The purpose of this article is to define the main challenges that the Open Access movement face, as well as their advances in the world, in Latin America, but mainly in Mexico. It concludes that it is necessary to improve in the definition of a state politics that allows settling the idea of the Open Access as a commonweal.
